San Juan Passport Agency – Going to San Juan Passport Agency
Are you in need of a passport in a rush? If so, you can go to the San Juan Passport Agency with your documents to get a new passport. But, do not show up and expect to see an agent. The San Juan Passport Agency is located in a Federal Building. So, you must first get an appointment by calling the National Passport Information Center hotline. The hotline is open 24 hours and seven days a week.
Before going to your meeting, you will go through a metal detector and search. Please do not bring any hazardous material or prohibited weapons with you. If you do, you will not gain entrance and can be arrested. Being late for your meeting will result in cancellation, and you must reschedule for another appointment date.

What to Bring at Your Appointment
The San Juan Passport Agency can only help you to get a passport if you have specific documents that will show proof of travel. Here is a list of all the papers you must bring to your appointment:
- Passport form (DS-11, DS-64, or DS-82)
- Passport Supporting Documents
- Expired passport (only if you had one before and in good condition)
- Proof of travel
- Company letter (only for a business trip)
- Emergency proof (just for the emergency trip)
- Pay cost (passport, execution, and agency fees)
All the persons applying for a new passport must be present at the interview, regardless of age. So, if you are planning to take your child on the trip and the child needs a passport, he or she must be at the interview with you.
