San Francisco Passport Agency – Applying for a Passport at the San Francisco Passport Agency
San Francisco Passport Agency is one of three regional passport agencies in the State of California. If you live in the vicinity of nearby state without a passport agency, you can submit your documents to get a passport in a rush. Like all agencies, an appointment is necessary to submit your application. To get one, call the National Passport Information Center hotline. You will get a day and time to attend.
The San Francisco Passport Agency office is in a Federal Building. So on your interview date, you will pass through a metal detector. Do not bring with you any hazardous material or prohibited weapons. If you are caught with one, you will get arrested and unable to attend your meeting. If you are late, you must reschedule a meeting for another available day and time.

Documents to Provide at your Interview
The San Francisco Passport Agency has a list of documents you must provide at your meeting to get a new passport. Without the materials, your application will be denied. Here is a list you must bring with you:
- Passport form
- Passport Supporting Documents
- Expired passport
- Proof of travel
- Company letter (only for a business trip)
- Emergency proof (just for the emergency trip)
- Pay cost (passport, execution, and agency fees)
Once your documents got accepted, and you pay the fees, you will get a new passport the same day, or within the time you will need one. Make sure everyone who needs a passport attends the meeting. If not, the absent applicant application will get declined.
