Colorado Passport Agency – What to Expect at the Colorado Passport Agency

 

Are you in need of a passport in a rush? If so, you can go to the Colorado Passport Agency with your documents to get a new passport. But, do not show up and expect to see an agent. The Colorado Passport Agency is located in a Federal Building. So, you must first get an appointment by calling the National Passport Center hotline. The hotline is open 24 hours and seven days a week.

Before going to your meeting, you will go through a metal detector and search. Please do not bring any hazardous material or prohibited weapons with you. If you do, you will not gain entrance and can be arrested. Being late for your meeting will result in cancellation, and you must reschedule for another appointment date.

All the persons applying for a new passport must be present at the interview, regardless of age. So, if you are planning to take your child on the trip and the child needs a passport, he or she must be at the interview with you.
